What your notice must include

  1. Your signature — physical or electronic, as the copyright owner or someone authorized to act for them.
  2. The copyrighted work — identify the work you claim was infringed (e.g. a photo, article or menu document).
  3. The infringing material — identify the material on YabuMenu.ph you want removed, including the exact page URL where it appears.
  4. Your contact details — name, address, telephone number and email address where we can reach you.
  5. Good-faith statement — a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use was not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. Accuracy statement — a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notification with your signature, identification of the removed material, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of your local courts. We will review it and may restore the material.

A note on misuse

Please note that knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages, including costs and attorney’s fees. If you are unsure whether the material infringes your rights, consider seeking legal advice before filing a notice.
